My kiddos seem to stagger their sleep just so to minimize mine. Travis has been going to bed at 7, then he wakes up at 6. Kenzie won't settle down until at least 9 usually more like 10 or 11. Then she sleeps for 6 hours, which is great! But by this time its 4 or 5 and Tim is getting up, which keeps her up. Tim leaves at 5:30 and by the time she settles down guess what time it is. Thats right 6 and Travis comes in to wake me up, which inevitably wakes Kenzie up too. So after all is said and done my nights sleep is cut much shorter than I would like. Here's hoping their timing gets better.
I think I'll try this blogging thing again. It's been skipped over for a few years now and its time to start up again. Blogs have changed a whole lot since I first started and so have I! So the whole thing is a work in progress until I can settle in on what I like. For all I know Work in Progress might just stay the title, 'cause heaven knows thats what it is!

Timing
As my life works now, I have about 2-3 hours of downtime (sometimes more hopefully less) when Travis has gone to bed, but Kenzie is up and fussy. She wants to spend most of this time nursing or being rocked, which leaves me with a fair amount of time with nothing to do. So I thought I might use this time for updating my blog. Its nice to have a set time to do things. If only I could find time for working out like that... Maybe once it warms up a little I'll start taking Kenzie out for walks during this time but its still too cold for that.
